- Each guest room features a personal electric golf cart to ensure no auto-emissions are released near the ocean, dunes, and guest room areas.
- Natural gas fireplaces serve as the heating source in every room and suite.
- Every room entry area is equipped with motion detector light sensors.
- There is a recycling program throughout the hotel.
- Energy efficient lighting is spread throughout hotel. We use low voltage, compact fluorescent bulbs and solar lighting throughout public areas, guest rooms and suites.
- Our property uses recycled biodegradable products for to-go food boxes and drinking cups.
- Reusable items such as cloth napkins, glass cups, ceramic dishes, etc. are used in all guest rooms.
- Non-toxic cleaning products are utilized in the hotel laundry and housekeeping department.
- All rooms and suites are equipped with water-saving toilets, low-flow shower heads, and sink aerators.
- Energy Star double-paned windows are installed in all areas.
- Drought resistant native plants are used in landscaping and garden areas.
- Roofing is installed with proper insulation and eco-composite shingles.
- We have eco-friendly carpeting installed in all areas of the resort.
- Our office and guest amenities contain post-consumer recycled content.
- The mini bar offers recyclable products such as aluminum cans and biodegradable packaging.
