The Monterey Bay Brewing Company began at the Mammoth Mountain Blues and Brews Festival, where founders Scott and Mark decided they wanted to bring craft beer to Monterey. Starting as a homebrew-kitchen operation, they eventually graduated to an excellent brewery here in Monterey. You should try their flagship beer—Mad Otter Ale—on your next visit.
