This new year, the Old Fisherman’s Wharf Association of Monterey will present the 9th Annual Whalefest Monterey. Located in the Whale Watching Capital of the World, the event celebrates the annual migration of the grey whales and the local marine community as a whole. There will be a symposium with lectures and documentary screenings all related to the whales and local oceanic ecosystems.
