Historic Monterey will host multiple events to celebrate this year’s Independence Day. Kicking off Fourth of July in Monterey, a large pancake breakfast in town will be followed by the annual 4th of July Parade down Alvarado and Calle Principal. There will then be a five-hour long lawn party on the grass in front of Colton Hall, where there will be a barbecue, live music, carnival games, and food vendors coming together for an all-out party. For nighttime fireworks, head over to nearby Salinas or Greenfield for some epic displays.
