As part of Cleo&Hooman's partnership with Independent Collection Hotels & Resorts this August, all four-legged guests will be greeted with a Zoomie Wipe upon check-in, providing pups with a refreshing and cleansing experience before they've even stepped their paws into their suite.

Stroll along the shore and play fetch among the sand dunes.  At sunset, gather at Salt Wood Kitchen & Oysterette’s patio, where you can feast on oysters and bubbly as your pet enjoys the new Pawtio Menu with options like the Ultimutt Breakfast and Quarter Hounder.

Pet Policy

Not only do we allow four-legged companions, but we welcome them with complimentary doggie treats upon arrival. The real fun begins after check-in, when pups (and their owners) can explore the natural surroundings and go for morning walks on the beach directly outside our 60 spacious cottage guestrooms or suites — all of which have plenty of room to sprawl out and unwind.

Any member of our staff can direct pet owners to a number of pet-friendly destinations near Monterey Bay, including Cafe Fina, Domenico’s on the Wharf, and our very own Salt Wood Patio.

In order to accommodate the furriest members of your party, the resort requires a $50 pet fee per night. A number of pet policies are also in place to guarantee the comfort of all our resort guests:

  • Please indicate that you are bringing along your pet while making your booking.
  • Pets must be accompanied by their owner at all times.
  • Pets may not be left unattended in the room at any time.
  • Guest suites, unfortunately, cannot be serviced while pets are in the room. Please make sure to take your pets with you during our housekeeping hours should you wish to have your room serviced.
