Macrame Beach Tote Workshop
The Art of Woven Stillness Join our special guest host for this one-of-a-kind pop-up event, part of our Summer Analog Series. This workshop offers step-by-step instructions on crafting your very own macramé tote. Macramé requires just enough focus to be engaging, but enough repetition to be predictable. This is the sweet spot for entering a Flow State. Which helps quiet down brain anxiety and focus on the present moment. We’ll provide fabric inserts for your finished bag so you can head straight to the beach and start combing for coastal trinkets to take home!
In this workshop, we’ll cover:
- Knotting macrame techniques for all levels
- Sips of champagne and herbal antigens
- Take your very own handmade tote with you to remember your time with us.

Drawing inspiration from the rhythmic tides of the Pacific, we’ll guide you through the process of selecting, designing, and assembling your very own pair of sea glass earrings. Whether you’re a seasoned maker or a first-time crafter, you’ll leave with a beautiful, one-of-a-kind keepsake that carries the spirit of the shore home with you.
In this class, we’ll cover:
- Step-by-step guidance on how to create your very own earrings with repurposed materials, such as sea glass
- Take home 1 to 2 pairs of homemade earrings with you

This summer, Sanctuary Beach Resort and Salt Wood Kitchen and Oysterette invite you to transform the "Bounty of the Sea" into handcrafted art. In this eco-conscious workshop, participants will repurpose discarded oyster shells from the restaurant into elegant keepsakes using the delicate art of decoupage and gilded finishes. By breathing new life into natural materials, this restorative experience blends tactile artistry with a deep respect for our oceans—offering a tangible lesson in sustainability that honors both the planet and the heart.
In this class, we’ll cover:
- Step-by-step guidance on how to decoupage
- Take home 1 to 2 pairs of homemade oyster trickets home with you

Join us at Salt Wood all summer long for a nostalgic Wednesday night residency featuring the acclaimed local musician Adam Astrup. We’re kicking off a series of live 90s acoustic sets designed to transport you back to an era of tapes, albums, and true connection. In the spirit of the 90s—when phones didn't distract us from the moment—we encourage you to put your devices away, "disconnect to reconnect," and enjoy the company of friends. It’s the perfect mid-week escape to sip on a summer-crafted cocktail, enjoy great food, and soak in the unplugged vibes of our favorite decade.
