There are few better ways to enjoy the scenic views of Historic Downtown Monterey, then by ringing in the holidays at the 36th Annual Christmas in the Adobes. Attendees of this nighttime event will get the unforgettable experience of exploring 19th-Century Mexican Era adobe homes. To add some holiday spirit to the event, there will be fandango dance lessons at the historic Custom House, bagpipe performances, and shortbread cookies.
The evening will consist of a festivus stroll through downtown, and attendees can look forward to visiting twenty-three different historical sites throughout the experience. Be sure to dress warm, wear shoes, and look forward to the fact that all event proceeds support educational and interpretive programs within Monterey State Historic Park.

Any chance you get to every party at the world-famous Monterey Bay Aquarium is worth taking advantage of. The BIG Little Holiday Party appears to be a strong example of this mindset. The highly anticipated event will join esteemed local businesses, citizens of Monterey, and travelers together for an evening of drinking and dancing among illuminated turtles and jellyfish.
The BIG Little Holiday Party will feature a full cash bar, light bites, a DJ providing live tunes with a dive show. Guests will be able to travel throughout the entire aquarium during the event, which leaves so much to be discovered for newcomers.
