Pacific Ocean Blessing
Saturday, June 20, 2026 June 20, 2026 The Sanctuary Beach Resort
The Sanctuary Beach Resort is proud to present a Pacific Island blessing on the resort beach bluff, featuring the local hula group Hi’ilani O Ke Kai. This immersive cultural experience honors the arrival of summer through the resonance of the sacred Oli (chant) and the Kau Ka Pe’a, a traditional dance of the ocean that pays homage to the spirit of the sea. As the sun begins its descent, the energy of the coastline will be further ignited by a traditional fire dancer, whose rhythmic movements and flaming artistry represent the primal element of heat and the transformative power of the sun. The Ho’omana band will provide ceremonial music for all performances throughout the event.
This non-ticketed gathering invites both guests and locals to the bluff to share in the mana (energy) of the coastline through heritage song and storytelling. As a neutral hospitality provider committed to inclusive excellence, we welcome all visitors to join us for this professional presentation of ancestral dance, fire, and community spirit where the dunes meet the tide.
